Hi, I'm Maryann — photographer, creator, and mother to my sweet girl.

My journey with photography didn't start with a business plan. It started with showing up for the people I love. A camera in hand at a friend's wedding. Sneaking behind the scenes at a baby shower. Capturing the chaos and the sweetness of birthday parties, baptisms, first steps, and all the in-between moments that fly by faster than we expect. What began as simply wanting to hold onto those memories turned into something I couldn't put down.

The more I photographed, the more I felt it — that quiet calling to freeze time for the people who matter most. There is something sacred about being trusted with someone's most tender moments. A mother meeting her newborn. A bride walking toward her forever. A family just being a family. I never wanted those moments to disappear.

Photography became my hobby, then my heart, and eventually my purpose.

That same season of love, faith, and becoming a mother also led me to create Covered in Faith — my faith-led shop for babies and little ones. Designing soft blankets, cozy pajamas, and nursery pieces rooted in scripture came from the same place my photography does: a deep desire to pour meaning and love into life's most precious chapters. Whether it's a hand-stitched piece surrounding your baby in truth, or a photograph on your wall of the day your world changed forever — it all comes from the same heart.

I believe the moments we live deserve to be felt twice — once when they happen, and again every time you look at the photo.
